Pelvic Floor Dysfunction made easier

Pelvic floor dysfunction? A lot of people get told to pull it up and hold it there… here’s a tip to make your pelvic floor stronger! Your pelvic floor is an important muscle as it supports your organs from underneath inside your pelvic bowl. Holding it up stalls part of it’s movement and can cause problems. Try breathing in and allowing your belly to fill up like there’s a balloon inside your stomach.at this point allow your pelvic floor to release. This then stretches the pelvic floor ready for activation. On the out breath pull your belly in to make yourself look thinner and pull your pelvic floor up (the muscle you use to stop the flow of pee). Repeat this with every breath to form a more functional pelvic floor
