Chest Breathing Vs Abdominal Breathing

Here’s 1 breathing exercise to help with lower back support and not have to buy a new chair for work or home. Sitting or standing put 1 hand on your chest and 1 hand on your stomach. Your chest hand needs to stay still throughout the breath. When you inhale your stomach wants to inflate out and to the side even stretching your ribs out and then breathing out pull your belly in throughout the whole breath and until you and fully pulling your stomach and ribs in to maximum exhale. This activates your diaphragm, transverse abs (nature corset to support your lower back) and your pelvic floor. This team of muscles unite to keep your lower back supported whilst sitting or standing.
